Day 1
Hello Lima - I’m ready to become an Xplorator!
We know the anticipation has been building for… well, forever! So, a hearty welcome to the club! We’ll be there to greet you and the rest of the group at the airport, ensuring a smooth transition to Miraflores, one of Lima’s most vibrant and culturally rich districts. Get ready for an evening of camaraderie and excitement as we gather for our first meal together. It’s the perfect opportunity for us all to connect and gear up for the adventure ahead!
DAY 2
Lima to Paracas Dunes
We’ll start our adventure from Lima, hitting its bustling streets on our CFMOTO 800MTs. Anticipate an adrenaline-filled ride to Paracas, where we’ll end our day watching a stunning desert sunset.
DAY 3
Over Nazca Lines to Puquio
Day 4
Ascending to Abancay
Gear up for a high-altitude ride to Abancay, reaching 4000 meters. We’ll navigate tough terrains, spot wildlife (even rare vicunas if we’re lucky), and by the end of the day enjoy a well-deserved rest with local flavors.
Day 5
Cusco via Andean Canyons
Prepare for a rugged journey through Andes’ canyons and passes to Cusco. We’ll face gravel, rain (maybe?) – but nothing to be worried about, and sharp turns, arriving in the historic Inca capital for further exploration by the evening.
Day 6
Exploring Cusco
We’ll swap our bikes for a well-deserved break from our two-wheeled companions – CFMOTO 800MTs – and take the day to uncover Cusco’s history. Next stop? The mystical Sacsayhuaman fortress and then we’ll take the time to savor some local culinary delights, soaking in the city’s rich heritage. Not a single dull moment while with Xplorator, right?!
Day 7
Cusco to Aguas Calientes - Triple fun ride
We’ll start with a quick ride through Cusco’s central area also known as Plaza del Armas, where if we’re getting lucky we might even snap a photo with the imposing Cathedral Basilica of the Virgin in the background. Next stop? – Aguas Calientes, but the adventure just begins as we’ll be combining motorbike, car, and train all through the famous Sacred Valley. The journey reveals stunning landscapes, leading to Machu Picchu’s gateway: Aguas Calientes, where we’ll rest for the evening.
Day 8
Machu Picchu Adventure
Trust us, waking up at 5 am will be a highlight – the awe of witnessing Machu Picchu at sunrise is unparalleled. You’ll be thankful for the early start as we’ll discover the ancient city’s splendor. Our guide, William, will navigate us through these historic ruins, revealing their hidden mysteries. After soaking in the wonder, a scenic train ride will whisk us back to Urubamba. The day concludes with a relaxing glass of wine by the campfire, set against a backdrop that’s impressively picturesque and memorable.
Day 9
Sacred Valley Off-Road Challenge
Get ready for a final off-road challenge back to Cusco, with the Sacred Valley below. We’ll enjoy the pure thrill of the ride one more time, and once arrived, we’ll load our bikes and send them to Lima. Ok, but us? We’ll take a domestic flight back to the vibrant Peruvian Capital, where a well-deserved dinner will for sure be a proper end for our riding days…for now.
Day 10 and 11
Lima Culinary Finale
Shift gears to Lima’s culinary scene. We’ll dive a bit more into the city’s flavors, wrapping up our Peruvian adventure with a taste of local cuisine and culture.
