Day 1
Touchdown in Cusco & Embrace the Inca Spirit
Land in Cusco, and our driver will be there to take you straight to the hotel. Once you’ve dropped off your luggage and are feeling settled, our tour guide will brief you on the road ahead. The group will gather later for a good meal in Cusco’s city center, a chance to fuel up and get acquainted before the ride kicks off.
DAY 2
Cusco to Abancay - Riding the Andean Heights (200 KM)
The road might twist and turn, but we’ll dance our way through the high Andes curves to Abancay.
After breakfast, we’ll get straight to business. We’ll introduce you to our Xplorator CFMOTO 800MTs, ensuring everyone’s comfortable and ready to roll. The day’s ride will take us to Abancay, with the raw beauty of the Andes serving as the backdrop. Expect some solid riding as we tackle the high-altitude roads, culminating in a well-earned rest in Abancay by evening.
DAY 3
Abancay to Ayacucho (390 KM) - Cliffs, Canyons, and Cafe Stops
Setting out from Abancay, we’ll navigate the rugged roads of the Andes. Prepare for some challenging stretches as we maneuver through sharp canyons and ascend high mountain passes. But with the CFMOTO 800MT handling these terrains, it’s more about the thrill than the challenge. The roads are often quiet, allowing us to enjoy an uninterrupted ride. By the end of the day, we’ll settle down in Ayacucho, ready for the next leg of our journey.
Day 4
Ayacucho to Huacachina (340 KM) - Sand, Sunsets, and Some Serious Fun!
Moving on from Ayacucho, our route steadily drops from the Andean heights, guiding us towards the Pacific coastline. Our destination is Huacachina, a unique desert oasis flanked by imposing sand dunes. Once there, we’ll swap our bikes for a robust V8 buggy, tearing through the sands to catch a sublime desert sunset. And for those looking for an extra jolt of adrenaline, there’s sandboarding down the dunes to cap off the day.
Day 5
Huacachina to Nazca - Nazca Lines or Alien Signs? (150 KM)
Today’s journey is a brief one, bringing us to the enigmatic Nazca. Awaiting our arrival is a Cessna plane, primed to offer a bird’s-eye view of the ancient desert glyphs. Their origins remain shrouded in mystery – with tales ranging from ancient civilizations to extraterrestrial craftwork. Up in the sky, you’ll get the chance to form your own conclusions.
Day 6
Nazca to Camana (400 KM) - Coastal Cruises and Ocean Breezes
Heading south, we ride the legendary Pan American highway, tracing the Peruvian coastline until the coastal town of Camana emerges on the horizon. Once there, the beckoning waves of the Pacific await. Dive in, feel the cool embrace of the ocean, and rejuvenate after the day’s ride.
Day 7
Camana to Colca Canyon (300 KM) - High Rises and Sky Kings
Shifting gears, we pivot from the coast and begin our climb to the Colca Canyon. This dramatic terrain might just reward us with a majestic sight: the Andean Condors, soaring effortlessly on the warm canyon updrafts. As dusk settles, we’ll rest up in Chivay, recharging for another day on the road.
Day 8
Colca Canyon to Puno (300 KM) - Lakeside Legacies and Floating Wonders
Lean in, as we carve our way through winding mountain paths en route to Puno, situated by the serene Lake Titicaca. Along the way, we’ll pause to experience the unique floating islands of the Uro Indians, whose innovative designs notably influenced the construction of the famed Kon-Tiki expedition.
Day 9
Puno to Cusco (390 KM) – From Incan Echoes to Cusco’s Embrace
Our journey rolls on across the expansive Peruvian high plains. We’ll make worthwhile stops to explore the remnants of Inca history, delving deeper into their architectural mastery. By afternoon, Cusco’s horizon will greet us once again. Let’s gather for a hearty dinner in the town’s historic heart, reminiscing the roads traveled.
Day 10
Departure from Cusco - Farewells and Future Flights
As our journey concludes, we’ve arranged your airport transfer tailored to your flight schedule. And for the adventurers extending their stay to marvel at Machu Picchu, rest assured; we’ve coordinated with our trusted local partner to ensure a smooth transition for your excursion to this iconic world wonder. Safe travels, and may the memories of our ride resonate with you always.
Day 11
(Optional Extension) - The Lost City Calls
Machu Picchu Awaits. If Machu Picchu, one of the globe’s most awe-inspiring sites, is still unchecked on your bucket list, consider our 1-day extension. Given the regulations around visitor numbers, it’s best to let us know early if you’re interested. Costs can vary with the season, so reach out ahead and we’ll help secure your spot to this monumental testament to human endeavor.
